Transparency in Supply Chains (TISC) Statement

Rockford Associates Limited (Rockford) is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chain.

This report addresses modern slavery and human trafficking risks related to Rockford’s business, and the steps it has taken during the last year to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any of its supply chains, or in any part of its own business.

Rockford is a professional services provider and employs a small number of professional staff.  Our regular supply chain comprises a small number of Professional Service, Information Technology and Office Provider suppliers, most of whom are large organisations who fall within scope of Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act (2015).

Rockford operates an ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System, which includes the maintenance of a Risk Register.

Rockford has undertaken the following steps to identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking risk in its business and supply chain:

• Added the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within the business and its supply chain to the Company’s Risk Register.
• Updated our Quality Management System (Purchasing & Supplier Approval) to include the requirement for new suppliers to declare that they are not involved in modern slavery or human trafficking, and confirm that they do not (i) employ or use any labour in contravention of the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015; and (ii) purchase any resources and or materials that have been sourced from entities using forced labour.
• Undertaken a review of our existing suppliers to determine if there is material risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our supply chain. We have determined there is low risk of this being the case, having taken into account the nature of supplies and the size and location of most of our suppliers (most fall within scope of Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act and have public Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statements).
• Actioned staff awareness of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
• Updated our Whistleblowing Policy to formally include in scope suspected instances of modern slavery and human trafficking which can be reported without fear of repercussions.
• Rockford has maintained its Accredited Living Wage employer status through certification with the Living Wage Foundation.
